  1. I really enjoy these...I've been following them episode by episode throughout TOS, Next Generation, and Deep Space Nine. Hoping that you'll get around to finishing Voyager through to the end. As I've watched the end of season 5 and into 6 and 7 I find myself returning to these pages to compare notes with you on the remaining episodes, but so far "Think Tank" seems to be the last there is. I've gotten so used to it now that the viewing experience feels incomplete with out your Randon Musings to tie it all up at the end.

  2. Apologies - I fell out of the show, and watching and reviewing it started to become a chore. I’d say it’s possible I might come back to it at some point - but I honestly haven’t felt the inclination even after all this time. I never really connected with Voyager, even when it became good in Season 4 and the first half of 5, and I think that had a lot to do with me stopping.

    1. Ahhh..well, I understand. It certainly doesn't have the emotional depth of Deep Space 9, or even of the best of TNG....but actually, as it heads towards the end in season 6 and 7, it does have its moments. The addition of the 7 of 9 character certainly helps that along. Even the Chakotay character begins to seem less flat. So, if you did come back to this it would of course be a welcome surprise, but if not, I thank you for all you've given us. As I'd said above, I really looked forward to these, and there were several that I shared with friends, that were subjects of discussion. I even read a portion of your review for the DS9 episode "The Visitor" to my therapist in a session...there were some parallels there to something that was happening in my own life at the time. So, if it means anything to you, these were not written in vain.

      All the best to you:-)

    3. Anyway, now that "Picard" is out there (which is great!) and "Discovery" (which I'm still on the fence about...too much "blow 'em up/shoot 'em up" for my taste lol!), you have plenty of newer things to write about should you return to the Star Trek universe.

      Agreed!

    5. Thanks, Freddie. Comments and stories like yours make this feel worth doing (as opposed to the comment I deleted, which makes the effort feel not worth bothering with). I'm unlikely to return to Voyager - any time I consider it, my mind shies away. But I'm very likely to at least give a shot to Discovery and Picard at some point.

  3. ...And most of Picard's first season is now reviewed (just the finale to go). While I wait for Season 2 to come to DVD/Blu-ray, I might pick at a few more Voyager episodes - Seven's participation in Picard has me at least halfway interested in returning to Voyager. So more "Voyager" reviews may be coming in the near future, though I absolutely DO NOT guarantee ever finishing the show.
